Help Establish Houses of Refuge

Pregnant By Boko Haram, Many "Double Widows"* Can’t Go Home Again

Thank you for considering a tax deductible gift! Each dollar donated helps us reachout and bring safety, support, counseling and education to the women victims who suffered sexual abuse at the hands of their Boko Haram captors. This is especially true of the young women (11-17) kidnapped by Boko Haram extremists and forced into sexual slavery. Pregnant with their kidnapper's children—should they escape or be released—they are shunned by their families and culture. They have no where to turn for comfort and care. Will you help us establish Houses of Refuge led by loving families who will ministry the love of Christ to these young girls in distress?

Partner with us as we work with:

  • Nigerian Project Leader - Dr. Ekene Osakwe, PhD , Humphrey – Fulbright Fellow, CDC, Emory University to establish these much needed homes for those most despised by the world.
  • An unprecedented team of Church leadership from across the leading denominations and the with special thanks to ECWA the leading denomination in the NE region of conflict with over 1800 churches.
  • The government of Nigeria which has offered its full support in aiding our efforts to read each these girls by providing armed convoys and security to protect our "boots on the ground".
  • The national head of the "BringbackourGirls" campaign (name withheld)
  • Regional Pregnancy Resource counselors and safehome ministries.

In addition, we are committed to educating our society to respect all innocent human life regardless of age, race, sex, health, function, or condition of dependency, including pre-born children at every state of their biological development.

Please help us reach these very vulnerable women with your love and please reach out to your church to educate others about this great need.

* A "Double Widow" is like 13 year old Esther (not her real name) who according to village custom married a Christian man of 17 and started a family in her rural farm community. The Boko Haram attacked one night and killed over 400 of her fellow villagers including her husband. She and her daughter were kidnapped and she was subjected to sexual bondage and eventually forced to marry a Boko Haram insurgent. She bore another child by her captor who was later killed by government forces. As in the western world, bearing a child concieved in rape carries a stigma. This double widow is not welcomed by her family or village and is outcast by all. It is currently estimated by the Nigerian government that 2000 women remain in sexually bondage by the Muslim extremists in the area of NE Nigeria. Please help us rescue these girls.
